About Me
My Story: Fighting for Hardworking Families
I understand where you’re coming from. On a personal note, I come from a working class
family whose parents taught me the value of hard work to get by. My father started on a corner
selling bags of oranges to make a living and feed his family. When he was able to buy an old
truck to have a fruit stand, I helped him out whenever I could. When he started a carpet cleaning
business, I would help him carry his machines in buildings with different levels that did not have
elevators. There’s an old saying in Spanish, “dime de donde vienes, y te dire quien eres [‘tell me
where you’ve come from, and I’ll tell you who you are’].” I mention this to you because I took
what my parents taught me and saw the sacrifices they made as guidance to how I try to
represent clients: with dignity and respect.
Meet Odir Alonso Hernandez: A Dedicated Advocate for Injured Workers
When you get injured at work and you’re in desperate need of getting answers, you may
not feel you may be getting the appropriate assistance and support you need from your employer.
Whether you need medical assistance to be seen by a doctor or have questions on how the
workers’ compensation system will impact your employment, your income, or if you can be
eligible for disability payments, although your employer is required to provide you with some
help, this minimal assistance may not even be there.
I’m here to tell you that you do not have to feel alone in facing this situation by yourself,
especially in a vulnerable state. You need to have someone in your corner who has to have your
interests in mind at the forefront. And you should also be able to communicate with someone in
your own language so you can fully understand what you may potentially be facing in the
workers’ compensation process.
I have been practicing workers’ compensation for more than a decade representing
injured workers of all types. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and my law
degree from UC Davis Law School.
A Workers’ Compensation Attorney Who Puts You First
Please feel free to contact me at 323-219-5856 for a free consultation. The experience
that many people have with a law firm they hire is that a client may rarely ever meet or worse
yet, never even get to meet the attorney representing them. You can rest assured that you will
have a line of open communication with me as we work towards fighting for compensation in
your case.
